It’s been awhile since I posted here but I have an excuse. I’ve been busy with a new project for my Etsy shop, Embracing the Present.
My niece inspired the brooch bouquets in my shop and she also inspired my new project. Her husband bought her an iphone for Christmas so she wanted a case for it. I bought her one but it was very plain jane and in the process, I fell in love with iphone cases that were blinged out. However, they didn’t have the vintage feel to them that I love. So I decided to make my own.
I’ve now added a number to my shop and will continue to add more as I finish them. They’re pretty labor-intensive so it takes me awhile to finish one. I use vintage findings on the cases, such as cameos and pieces from vintage earrings and pins. And I’m making cases for 4, 4s, and 5 iphones. Here are a few I have listed:
